Our Exciting Opportunity! 

We are at the core of ensuring the quality of Ericsson’s cloud native ENM product is pristine and ensuring timely release to our customers.
We are searching for a DevOps Engineer who has expertise with container and container orchestration technologies, CI/CD and thrives within a close knit, collaborative and high performing team. 
This role is heavily focused towards the ‘Ops’ part of DevOps as development will not be part of your daily activities.

In this role you will 

  • Use and master ground-breaking technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Jenkins, Spinnaker) on a daily basis. 
  • Build & demonstrate product domain expertise in making key decisions on a regular basis.
  • Work closely together with your teammates and other teams in diverse multi-site environment. 
  • Collaborate with design teams at various forums to ensure robust and seamless deliveries.
  • Define & provide input on requirements & improvements placed on development teams within the department. 

Key Requirements 

  • Proficient with container and container orchestration technologies, such as Docker & Kubernetes.
  • CICD expertise and hands-on experience with associated tooling such as Jenkins & Spinnaker.
  • Exemplary problem solving, root cause analysis and debugging skills.
  • Ability to manage a team, delegate tasks, drive issues and make tough decisions.
  • Advocacy for collaboration & being a team player.
  • Git/Gerrit experience.
  • Passionate about learning new technologies and problem domains.
  • Experience working closely with globally distributed teams.
  • A MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or in a related field. 
  • Proficiency in English, both written and verbally.

It's a huge plus if you have knowledge/experience in: 

  • Integration of open-source projects.
  • Specific sysadmin experience.
  • Red Hat OpenShift.
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux / SLES.
  • Leadership role experience (Scrum Master, Product Owner).
