Are you interested in building Ericsson Cloud RAN Radio Access Network (RAN)? Excellent, as we are now looking for creative, upbeat, out of the box individuals to join the newest product development unit PDU Cloud RAN.

We are looking for Cloud Native Software Flow (CI/CD and DevOps) Engineers to help build, maintain, and resolve our test pipelines issues. Are you passionate about scalability, reliability, automation, and availability, building and maintaining mission-critical infrastructure and tools? Excellent because we are building a platform that enables developers to use the cloud more optimally! Key Responsibilities

  • Helping teams resolve Application Support Service domain within PDU Cloud RAN Cloud Infrastructure test environments.
  • Address key challenges of building, and automating, best-in-class continuous integration, continuous deployment pipeline to give feedback for a quality, failure resistant private cloud
  • Create meaningful monitoring, logging, alerting, and responses to issues proactively
  • Be passionate about driving collaborations across multiple business areas within a large organization
  • Have the technical and human proficiencies needed to help craft our vision for a truly Cloud-Native RAN solution


You Have:

  • Very strong Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Deployment tooling
  • Ability to solve problems, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Motivation to constantly seek new ways to improve system performance
  • Passion about seamless uptime and infrastructure resiliency to failures
  • Delight in building tools to automate routine tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Education: minimum BSc. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent. MSc. or PhD or equivalent.


You might also have at least one of below:

  • Experience in operating carrier-grade virtual platforms in cloud environment
  • Strong problem solving/troubleshooting skills, automation, and programming
  • Linux system administration and network administration
  • Multi Data centre management, replication, scaling, performance tuning
  • Metrics and monitoring – writing custom tools and integrating/adapting open source tools
  • Release engineering and release management experience is a plus
  • Experience in software design and development for complex platforms
  • Experience with open source and proprietary cloud and virtualization technologies (Kubernetes, VMWare, OpenStack, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc.)
  • Comfortable with Go, Python, bash scripts
  • Experience with Git, GitLab, Docker, Rancher, Jenkins, ELK, Redis, Ansible, Terraform, Spinnaker, GitOps, Kubeflow
