About this opportunity

The Engineering Productivity team is a group of passionate engineers that work closely with software engineers across the organization providing direction and guidance on software design, promote cloud native engineering practices, bug prevention strategies and advanced quality concepts to help development teams achieve new heights of efficiency, velocity and effectiveness.

Members of the Engineering Productivity team create innovative tools and solutions to solve some of the toughest challenges related to engineering: code analytics, distributed system verification, test optimization. These solutions enable engineers to innovate and deliver products with confidence to our customers.


What you will do

  • Develop, and promote tools and techniques to enable development teams to test effectively and consistently across the product portfolio
  • Research and introduce new tools and techniques in cloud native test automation and continuous testing
  • Coach teams in standard methodologies and continuous improvement


You will bring

  • Strong software engineering skills and knowledge of building, testing and maintaining scalable, distributed, high performing systems
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with test automation
  • Knowledge of Cloud Computing and Cloud Native engineering
  • Passion for developing high quality software and tooling for continuous improvement of engineering processes
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate and coach


Desirable Skills

  • Strong software development skills
  • Test automation experience covering both functional and non-functional testing
  • Experience with monitoring and observability including automated alerting around SLO’s
  • A good knowledge of system reliability engineering including high availability systems
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes and helm, helmfile
  • Strong troubleshooting skills
  • A passion to eliminate toil work through automation
  • A desire to continually improve the systems you work with
