We are now looking for an Integration Engineer for IMS systems to analyze, prepare, implement and verify the configuration and integration of a node, network and/or system. Your scope of work could include the scenarios of introduction, upgrade expansion, functionality and capacity. Your work will in part form our customer legacy.

 

You will

  • Support pre-sales activities, including pre-studies
  • Plan the implementation of the product configuration/integration work
  • Implement product configuration, integration and migration work
  • Prepare system test, module test and accept test
  • Work to identify and drive improvements
  • Post project activities
  • Understand technical E2E
  • Script & code

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Solid experience (5+ years) in IT or Telecom Industry
  • Experience in IMS systems is an advantage
  • Experience with Linux system administration including managing servers, shell scripting, networking, performance tuning, problem-solving
  • Understanding of Linux server maintenance
  • Linux processes and inter-process communication knowledge
  • Strong understanding of virtual CPU, virtual memory, networking and storage setup
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization design, configuration, maintenance (any vendor)
  • Familiarity with Network technologies: TCP IP stack, hands-on with routing and switching, hands-on with VLANs and IP addressing, knowledge of Firewall principles
  • Experience in Troubleshooting Hardware and Operating system related issues
  • Thorough knowledge of physical and logical disk systems and their impact on performance
  • Ability to independently investigate, and solve complex issues, following RCA (Root Cause Analysis) report with minimal direction
  • Virtualization solutions certification (preferred)
  • Strong written/verbal communication and listening skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work within the project team and to lead a technical team
  • Good command of English and Russian
