Do you want to be a part of the team architecting and designing Ericsson's new, clean-sheet, SerDesPhy IP? We are seeking a senior ASIC RTL Design engineer to join our Austin team!

 

You will

Work with a versatile team developing our new SerDesPhy IP and help our teams bring SerDes into our future silicon product line-up. Engage your learning and problem-solving passion to lead design and verification engineers to craft a design that meets functional, performance, and quality requirements while optimizing for speed, area, and power!

 

To be successful in the role you must have

  • Master Of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science with 5+ years of experience, or equivalent
  • Modern SystemVerilog RTL design experience, including low-power / energy-efficient design, synthesis, static timing analysis, and DFT
  • High-speed serial link protocol knowledge, and SerDes silicon bring-up experience
  • Applied algorithm development experience
  • Good Knowledge of front-end development tools (logic simulators, linters, clock domain crossing checkers, etc)
  • Good communication and presentation skills

 

You may also have

  • Knowledge of System-Verilog Assertions (SVA), UVM checkers, and other design verification techniques
  • Experience with transistor-level implementation of digital circuits
  • Custom firmware development experience
  • Scripting language (e.g. Python, Perl) Experience
