Our Exciting Opportunity


PDU TC (Product Development Unit Traffic Control) is one of the main R&D units within Ericsson’s Radio Access Network domain. The unit is accountable for Ericsson traffic control software covering all radio technologies (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G) over their full lifecycle.
We address telecommunication business needs from around the globe by delivering highest products quality.

We are now looking for Software Test Engineer highly experienced in RAN technologies to become a part of our 3G verification team.
Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We are organized in cross test teams in which continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing is part of the daily work.

  • Analysis and troubleshooting of test scenarios
  • Creating ,running, maintaining and monitoring automated tests
  • Reporting bugs
  • Planning and building real test environment including network planning
  • Maintaining existing test environment including HW rebuilds
  • Test environment troubleshooting
  • Develop competence in technical domain
  • Drive continuous improvements of products and processes

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience in testing systems
  • Knowledge of RAN network topology
  • Knowledge and experience in building and configuring radio networks
  • RAN Hardware knowledge
  • IP knowledge including network design, subnetworks and routing tables
  • Microsoft Excel skills
  • GIT version control system
  • Experience of working with Jira and Jenkins
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Shell (Linux) scripting skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Agile and Kanban methodology
